Kendall J. Moriarty

I started working for lawyers in 2010 in Portland, Oregon. After working in both the private and non-profit immigration law spaces, I decided to go to the law school. In 2016, I graduated with High Honors from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. I have been practicing immigration law since May of 2017. I specialize in removal and asylum defense before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, including appeals. I also have experience in many types of affirmative applications, like adjustments of status, naturalizations, applications for relatives, victims-based petitions like U visas and VAWA, Special Immigrant Juvenile petitions, applications for parole in place, waivers, consular processing, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Because I’m licensed in Utah, I also take Utah state juvenile cases for abused, abandoned, and neglected immigrant youth.

I speak English and Spanish.

Immigration law has been my passion for fifteen years. I love meeting and working with people from all over the world and learning their story to present it with integrity and dignity. I believe that all immigrants have value and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

In my spare time, I love reading, working out, running, hiking, and spending time with my husband, four kids, and dog, Rosslyn.

En 2016, me gradué con honores altos de la Universidad de Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. He ejercido el derecho migratorio desde mayo de 2017. Me especializo en la defensa de casos de deportación y asilo ante la Oficina Ejecutiva de Revisión de Inmigración, incluyendo apelaciones. También tengo experiencia en diversos tipos de solicitudes afirmativas, como ajustes de estatus, naturalizaciones, solicitudes para familiares, peticiones basadas en víctimas como visas U y VAWA, peticiones para jóvenes inmigrantes especiales, solicitudes de parol en place, perdones, procesos consulares, y Acción Deferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA). El derecho migratorio ha sido mi pasión durante quince años. Me encanta conocer y trabajar con personas de todo el mundo y aprender de sus historias para presentarlas con integridad y dignidad. Creo que todos los inmigrantes tienen valor y merecen ser tratados con amabilidad y respeto.

En mi tiempo libre, me encanta leer, hacer ejercicio, correr, hacer senderismo, y pasar tiempo con mi esposo, mis cuatro hijos, y mi perra, Rosslyn.
